Legal Discussion about the case against Bishop Eddie Long

I am a member of New Birth and Bishop Long is my pastor every word the holy spirit allowed to come from him has taken me and family to new levels and heights in Christ. I write because this situation is bigger than him and the Newbirth Congregtion-This is a WAKE UP CALL to all believers. Sometimes God takes his righteous, radical, and obedient people to clean up a big mess that has been spreaded throughout generations-and swept under the rug-Well I’m glad God chose my Pastor Bishop Eddie L Long and the Newbirth congregation to be set up to tear down the DEVILS scheme of collecting souls. Sexually immorality God Hates -To lie with another man w/a man is an abomination (detestable) to God. But our God is a forgiving God, people will tear you down but when you repeant God cleans you up for the better calling. I’m not saying any of the sexual allegations are true. But because of who my Bishop is he taught me-and now, I want to speak on what I was taught. This is bigger than him-At this time in the body of christ God is calling for REPEANTANCE from every part of the body of Christ one cannot work without the other REPEANTANCE whether wrong or right produces healing in all believers- This situation has reached outside the box-Victims are hurt-church-gooers that do not read the word for themsselves are lost and confused- and believers are devastated and quiet. Let’s look at the big picture and start healing first and GOD will do the rest. This is a TEST for the body of Christ. Ask yourself who will get the VICTORY? -WAKE UP – WE THE BODY OF CHRIST – AND SEEK GOD LIKE NEVER BEFORE

I also agree with wanda. I must say that everybody in this need prayer. It is hard on everyone and if this is true more so on the the young men that this happened to. Reason is that they held it in for so long. Everybody of the church are more than likely hoping that it is not true but what if it is whats going to happen to Bishop Eddie Long? And if its not whats gonna happen to the young men who said that this happened? All I have to say is just pray for everyone and put it in the hands of GOD..

Its hard knowing a man who has several churches called New Birth and find himself caught up into a whole lot of mess. It keeps coming one thing right after another. Many people want to be seen and part of the well to do and go to the length to be right in there only to find out that money rules over all of the fine homes, clothing and cars. As long as you have it; you are consider one of us; and when you lose it, you no longer part of the mainstream. What has mislead so many is what they have seen and it look good to them….then they are superseded by not being a key player. Churches are nothing to be played with because it set itself aside from other businesses. Do churches operates like a normal business; yes, but they are not suppose to in accordance with the 5013C. Churches pay no taxes and they fall in a whole different arena. New Birth is a massive structure holding as many people as it can. You can do the math; 5000 members paying their tiding equal to what; well depending on the monthly income and it is 10% tidings. Here is the sad thing members never think about; you give so the church can continue to operate and when you need help; you have to ask for benevolence assistance; then, your whole life history has to be known all over again before you get that help after you have been paying tides for years. You all are helping a man to live richly off of your dollars while you might be starving and still trying to remain one of the guys or dolls. Now we all are reading about the bad investment NB Congregaion has made and are now left holding the empty bank accounts; none might not be recover. Frank Ski are part of the NB well to do; he has never been up front with Long’s ongoing problem; no, no preacher should be living above his flock no matter how well a church is doing. He should receive a decent salary to live and to operate his daily duties; but not be give monies to live so high over his flock who are merely making it. Long has been deceitful and negligence in his own rights. I heard many people say that people can’t touch him; he is protected with a lot of security; that is so stupid unless he has made enemies by other people. The young men deserve a day in court to tell what happen. Long knows that he is finished anyway you look at this situation…settle out court, pay the money he is guilty; go to court and see how much dirt comes out; he lose with so much going against him. Remember, he said he was going to fight this things…I don’t see him tryhing to fight nothing, he want it to go away and even if it do, he still has lost his bishopship to many. I found way to many discrepancies in his ongoing lies that he started off saying he was going to tell his congregation on that sunday; he never did and tryed to make something else happen on his behalf. The thousands of people who were there are dissatisfied then and even to date. Litigation in court is one thing; but Long don’t want the truth to be told; he has already receive the word from God that he was going to lose this fight and he also know that it is ridiculous to even try and fight the truth. Compelling was what the men said with almost tears in their eyes….I know it hurt them but success some times gives people the wrong impression that they can do whatever and not be challenge about it. Finally, if all of our Ministers, and other gospel pronostercators of the faith would have came forth and said something about this whole thing; Long would not be in the pulpit trying to bring the words to other when he don’t have it himself. No matter who you are; where you live, your status in life; poor, adverage, rich or semi-rich, you better know the truth before you step into deep water and find out you can’t swim and there is no help coming for you. That is where all of NB members stands.
