I live on the west coast & happen to see all the tweets regarding this, as I watch the video I still don’t get the negativity that the two women have against Tameka. I agree with Tameka that every blogger jump on the band wagon & no one gave her an chance. But as I recall while bloggers where saying negative things about her (while married to Usher) she sat back & said nothing public (that I recalled). In the essence article she only mention that she wasn’t the cookie cutter type of women, the model looking per say. So, I understand what Tameka was trying to say the black women had bashed her. As a black women we should have been applauing her & supporting her & the marriage. My point is this everyone looks at Usher and says the should of never married her, she a gold digger, etc but let me say this-first of all Tameka (in my opinion) was & is a grown mature women, who Bern married & have kids, she a family women, mother business women. I look at Usher and the women he dated before her & say Tameka was to mature for him (boys usually can’t handle a grown women). Also everyone wants to compare her to Chili there’s a difference between a women & girl & that’s why he married Tameka.

    Katht, I agree with many of your points. We know it’s hard for lots of people in the limelight and sometime they say the wrong things in making an adjustment to the limelight, just like many of us do in our more personal lives.But this chick Yalanda was trying to make a name for herself. She was a horrible interviewer or better yet a horrible agitator.

Yolanda from Dryer Buzz was saying how she posted positive articles on Tameka and Tameka still managed to cop an attitude. LMAO@ Tameka asking “How did we even get on the subject of Black women?” when she brought up the subject herself. I guess she just talks to hear herself talk. Her nasty attitude during this interview actually PROVES why no one likes her.

She worked in the industry for years she knew what she was getting into.
She broke up her family left her husband for a younger man…
Golddigger? Maybe not but she is definitely an opportunist with no conscience.

ugh and still that lady in the orange or whatever had an attitude, at the end when Ryan said, “Thanks Meka, we know you had a busy schedule” that lady rolls her eyes, yes us as black women do need to learn how to uplift each other.

I think Tameka made good points. The ladies in the studio all seem angry and unhappy! How can these bloggers we so judgmental when they themselves are faaaaaaaaar from perfect.

here’s the problem, she tried to be bigger than her husband. If you look at the pictures of them she’s smiling harder than him. She never sits down, she’s elevated whatever career she has behind him and THAT is an opportunist. Plus they were the biggest non secret WHILE she was married to her previous husband.They brought this on themselves, Tameka in particular so she needs to just stay out of the public eye and tend to her business and her children. It’s obvious she can’t handle it.

I heard this interview as I was driving home from work yesterday. I was very surprised to hear the way “Yolanda” was talking to Tameka. In my opinion, she was very negative towards Tameka. I have had the pleasure of meeting Tameka and Usher. I must admit, before I even met her, I formed a negative opinion of her, based on how the blogs were portraying her……When I met Tameka….I was very surprised….she was NOTHING like the blogs said…..No, I’m not a “friend” of Tameka or Usher….but I’ve met them several times….I tried to call in to the radio station when I heard the interview, but I could not get an answer….I was very happy to hear the apology on air…..but Yolanda kinda dampened the apology…..

Those 2 females pretty much proved her point! They sat there rolling their eyes & making faces (like little kids), the whole time she was talking….TWO GROWN WOMEN, mind you.
So unecessary & so uncalled 4. Tameka is right. (most) Black women are the most jealous, hateful a$$ creatures on this planet….I tell you. It’s not a good look. Not attractive….AT ALL!

Tameka needs to understand that the problem was simple. She appeared to be a woman who left her children to live her life regardless of it being good for the children. Also Tameka’s writings are different than her oral skills. Is she using ghost writers?
Going off after having a baby to get lipo just appeared to be sneaky. People just had very little to admire from what they saw as a person who was “independently” thinking of herself…..and we all said…”what about the kids?”. Unfortunately that does not sit well with many black women who make sacrifices for their children and are taught the kids come first.
