Kenny Burns epitomizes “hustler” – with an exclamation point: Starting off in party promotion, he then navigated his way into the music, fashion, film and radio industries all while leaving his imprint in each. The former vice president of Roc-a-Fella Records helped shape the careers of Jay-Z, Kanye West and Dream and was instrumental in “Paid In Full’s” wide screen release. As co-founder of RyanKenny, he led the “button-up” trend in fashion that emerged in 2003 and was supported by everyone from Usher to Common.

And this video documents the weekend announcer’s journey throughout, while sharing what he’s learned about what it does and doesn’t take to be successful.
