beatbillionaire Producers Week Day 3: Beat Billionaire Stopped By The Greg Street Show!

Beat Billionaire brought you such hood classics as Young Dro‘s “Take Off” and “Freeze Me”, but 12 years into the game, he has entered into a new chapter of his career as a producer. He’s now apart of one of the most prestigious music families in the game right now- Maybach Music Group! MMG’s newest signee who brought you Wale‘s “Fitted Cap” and Rick Ross‘ “John Doe”, said he’s honored to be apart of the fam.

“I was at a video shoot with Tip when I met Ross. He asked me to send him some beats,” he said. “He got on John Doe and asked me to be apart of the fam… I couldn’t turn him down!”

In his youth, this hot producer was a street kid with dreams of rapping. Beat Billionaire said his career did not happen by chance, with no musical background, he sits on Reason and Fruity Loops and produces some of your favorite songs. So it’s no surprise he gives all credit to GOD.

“I grew up selling drugs, but I had this talent and everybody kept telling me to take advantage of it, but I didn’t until I was 21,” he said. “To this day I couldn’t tell you what key I’m in, but I know what sounds good. It has to be the man up above.”

You will hear more from Beat Billionaire being that he’s working on cuts from Rick Ross’ new album God Forgives I Don’t, Meek Mill’s album, and Wale and Trey Songz‘ new albums. Though he’s signed to MMG, he’s still open to work with others.

Being that he was once a “knuckle head” and turned his life around, Beat Billionaire was more than happy to offer up some advice to the up and coming.

“Take advantage of the internet- it’s the new wave of networking! Don’t just sit online goofing off when you could be making moves,” he said. “If nothing else, chase your dreams! Don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do! If they do, tell them what I said…”
