Alpharetta Police say the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was cited in a car accident earlier today.

Officers Wednesday morning responded to a call about a black Chevrolet Camaro that slid off the road and landed in a ditch in Alpharetta.

They found 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown standing beside her damaged car near her home.

Police say Brown lost control making a left turn out of her townhouse complex, ran over a curb and crashed through some trees before ending up on a nearby trail.  Police say she was not driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

No injuries were reported.

Police cited Brown for failing to maintain her lane.

The accident comes on word that Bobbi Kristina and her adopted brother/fiance’ Nick Gordon are now just pals. Both Gordon and Brown have recently tweeted that their romantic relationship is over. The engagement was a source of much concern for Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother gospel singer Cissy Houston and for her aunt Pat Houston.

Many viewers of the reality show “The Houstons: On Our Own” saw the concern over the young couple’s relationship play out on the reality show.

Gordon was informally adopted by Whitney Houston when he was 12 years old. He has been a constant companion of Bobbi Kristina since the death of her mother, attending awards shows and being seen around the Atlanta area together.

After the accident Bobbi Kristina tweeted, “My Personal Guardian Angel. Thank you mom. Miss and love you more. You’ll never know. Not a scratch and ok. Wow, praise God. Nick Gordon. Serious changes within me.”

This is the second car accident involving Bobbi Kristina in the past two months.

In September, both Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon were involved in a car accident in Alpharetta that left Gordon’s black Camaro badly damaged.
