Jumping right in…

I still feel all the drama on Twitter and the blog sites leading up to the show was way more interesting – but it’s getting better. (*Side eye*)

It’s the second episode of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” and we still have yet to see Kirk and Rasheeda or Karlie Redd – but we did get introduced to new cast members, DJ Traci Steele and DJ Baby Drew.

Long story short: Boy meets girl. Girl and boy fall in love and have a child, but the boy is Chris Brown‘s DJ and travels a lot and lays it low and spreads it wide, so it’s over. Sort of.

But what I found funny was this clown needs a $25,000 loan and Traci’s co-sign on a sneaker boutique so now he wants to cook and play “family.”

Moving right along, because they didn’t win me over…

I’m loving Joseline right now! We all remember the little Spanish girl with her head in the clouds from last season; but now the “Puerto Rican Princess” has blossomed into a pretty fierce businesswoman.

I know you heard her assistant Dawn say she grossed $100,000 in two and a half months. (Damn! Mona call me!)

Only one problem: The past is coming back to haunt Joseline because she signed a contract with Stevie J before this all began AND SHE HAS NO CLUE WHAT THE CONTRACT SAYS!

Plus, he refuses to discuss it or give her a copy. (Oh hell no Stevie!)

Joseline is a hustler and playing with her money is like playing with her emotions. In her defense, she never thought she’d be a big star. Like most young women, she just liked messing around with Stevie and was looking forward to a few bags and meals.

But between me and you, we’ve heard her talk, so I highly doubt she would have had a clue what the contract entailed even if she was paying attention. Big mistake!

Stevie J’s bus may need a tune-up because right now it looks as if it has broken down on the side of the road and all of his chicks have gotten off. Mimi moved out and we saw him become belligerent and try to fight cameramen and security. Mimi said she’s done -AGAIN! (We’ll see how long this lasts since her boyfriend – who you will see in episodes to come – is now mumbling about their break-up).

But no matter what she decides to do, SHE MUST STOP GOING TO K. MICHELLE FOR ADVICE! Just put on her CD. The creative ratchetivity (I made that up) in her music, I can deal with; but just her talking to hear how many ghetto catchphrases she can spew is annoying.

The “Prince of the South” is slowly becoming “Prince Charming”! I like that he’s showing his vulnerable side and not just putting his paws on people. I want Erica and Scrappy to make it work, and not just for the sake of the cameras. I’m so proud of Scrappy for holding his ground for the woman he loves. You don’t see that often. The preview for the next episode shows a big blow-up between her and Momma Dee. It’s so unfortunate. (*Pulls out popcorn!*)

These two are in cahoots, yet again. I told you all last season that Shay couldn’t win because she entered the game all wrong. She came in as the homie-lover-friend who was going to be there when times are hard with his girl, or whatnot.

OK – so that’s where she’ll always be. She chose that role.

Momma Dee needs to let it go. When she pulled up in that Cadillac I know a lot of you probably heard Curtis Mayfield singing, “Diamond in the back. Sunroof top. Digging the scene with a gangsta lean…”

But all I heard was Birdman and Mannie Fresh, “Gator booooots/with the pimped out Gucci suuuuiiit/Ain’t got no joooob/ but I stay shaaaaarp.”

Same difference. I just want Shay to wake up; because last season Scrappy played with your feelings, and now you’re allowing his mother to do the same thing. I’m starting to see a pattern.

And though you may not drive a great big Cadillac, gangster whitewalls, TV antenna in the back, you can still catch Momma Dee and all this drama every Monday night at 8/7c.

Stay Tuned…
