Black History Month 2016 has been filled with great entertainment moments such as Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime performance, Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy performance, but at the start of the month, our #ManCrushMonday did the unthinkable.

At the Sundance Movie Festival, his movie “A Birth Of A Nation“, that he directed, produced, and funded himself, not only won 2 awards (Grand Jury Award & Audience Award), but the movie was sold at the film festival for a record $17.5 million dollars! It isn’t up for any Academy Awards yet, but trust us, it will be! The movie has already garnered much support from Hollywood heavyweights in the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Spike Lee, & Gabrielle Union.

Our #MCM for this week is non-other than Nate Parker.
