Courtney shares his personal process and approach to playing Johnnie Cochran in “The People v. O.J. Simpson.” Courtney also talks about the Oscars and the lack of diversity in film. He puts ownership on “us” to make the academy recognize black art by supporting black movies. He also draws parallels to the importance of voting and how exercising those powers are the key to creating the change we want to see.
