Funny enough, while Luke Cage has no alias, Ol' Dirty has several, including Osirius, Dirt McGirt, Big Baby Jesus and Dirt Dog.

One of the many exciting things to come out of Comic-Con is the latest trailer for the upcoming Marvel Netflix series, Luke Cage.

Cage made his debut in another recent Marvel Netflix series Jessica Jones, and will now star in his own series. The show, which takes place in New York (like Jones, and Marvel’s other Netflix series, Daredevil), will be heavy on hip-hop. The first trailer featured Nas’s “Made You Look” and the latest one uses Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s 1995 classic “Shimmy Shimmy Ya.”

Like Jessica Jones, Cage doesn’t have a superhero name (although in the comic books, Jones’s character was at one point called “Alias,” and Cage’s was “Powerman” and also “Hero for Hire”). Meanwhile, Ol’ Dirty Bastard — real name Russell Tyrone Jones — went under a number of aliases, including ODB, Osirius, Dirt McGirt, Big Baby Jesus and Dirt Dog.

The show will be scored by Ali Shaheed Muhammad, the DJ/producer from A Tribe Called Quest.

All of the episodes of Luke Cage, season 1, are set for release on Netflix on September 30.
