Delta Airlines’ Failed Computer Systems Back Online With Limited Departures

ATLANTA GA– Delta Airlines computer systems are back on line, up and running. That was not the case early Monday morning when air travel challenges.
All of Atlanta-based, Delta Airlines computer systems were down. It caused flights around the world to be grounded. Delta says it was a power outage in Atlanta that led to the computer issues.
The problem was first uncovered when a flight was to take off from San Francisco.—-According to Delta, the airline’s control center computer system was shut down. A collaborative effort was underway with Georgia Power. A systems check showed that all systems were up and running from the power company to the airport. A router type distribution panel was not functioning at the airport, A Georgia Power spokesperson said.
As of this posting three hundred flights out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield International Airport had been cancelled.
