It seems like just yesterday Big Tigger was reporting in Trending Topics that Derrick Rose was looking to have the woman accusing him of gang rape disallowed of anonymity, and just in time for today’s edition, an update: The judge has ruled that the Jane Doe may no longer use a pseudonym and must reveal her identity.
The New York Knicks’ new point guard had contended the 30-year-old “abused the privilege by going on a nationwide, pretrial media blitz over the past week, which included phone interviews and a news conference. Now it seems the judge agrees.”
So Doe must disclose her real name when the civil case goes to trial Oct. 4. She is seeking $21.5 million in damages.
