2 large cans of sweet potatoes or yams

1 tsp of nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon

1 Can pineapple tidbits

Walnuts to taste


1 Tablespoon Cinnamon for caramel

1 Stick butter

1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract for sugar topping

1 Cup of Karo syrup, white sugar, light brown sugar

2 Tablespoons of honey




  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F
  2. Combine yams, pineapple, nutmeg, pumpkin spice and cinnamon in oven-safe dish
  3. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes
  4. Heat skillet to medium-high heat
  5. Stir butter, sugar, brown sugar, Karo syrup, honey, vanilla and cinnamon together until caramel is a medium brown color
  6. Pour caramel onto yams
  7. Return to oven for 15 minutes
  8. Add walnuts
  9. Broil for 5 minutes
  10. Serve and enjoy!
