In response to Kendu Isaacs‘ request for spousal support, the R&B superstar is countering that “we are in significant debt.”
Isaacs, Blige claims, had been “misappropriating money for two years”; including some $420,000 in travel charges (including hotels and airfares) that were not related to her business and did not include her.
Isaacs suggested they live a lavish lifestyle, she continues, “when in fact we overspent and we are in significant debt. We owe millions in dollars in taxes [and have] significant advances that have to be recouped by the record company.”
So no, Blige is maintaining, not only is she in no position to continue supporting him, his parents and his children from a previous marriage – but she would like that GRAMMY and those three leased cars she prepaid for back, please.
