Georgia Dome Cleanup Could Take 3 Months

The Atlanta skyline is changed forever. After 25 years as the home of the Atlanta Falcons, the Georgia Dome was imploded on Monday, November 20, 2017. A wall that remained standing following the implosion will be brought down with concrete breaking equipment, according to officials.

The new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which stands near, the now demolished Dome, is the home of Atlanta's professional football team.
