Atlanta, GA - There are 1,387 confirmed coronavirus cases and 47 deaths in the state of Georgia. The Georgia Department of Public Health said 438 people have been hospitalized with the virus.

The youngest person who has died was 33 years old. 27 victims had preexisting conditions, according to the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency.
