As our community comes together to support the fight against racial injustice and help create the future we’d like to live in, V-103 International is teaming up with the United States Census 2020 to host a Virtual Concert to ensure our voices are heard. Not tomorrow, but right now.

The evening's festivities are hosted by Osei The Dark Secret right here on, featuring artists 2Baba, Ice Prince and more.

Referred to as “Nigeria’s greatest pop act of all time," 2Baba is often credited as a key figure in the rise of the 21st century Africa sound. He is one of the most successful Afro artists of all time, blending Reggae, R&B and traditional African music to create a vibe all his own.

Since releasing his debut, Everybody Loves Ice Prince in 2011, actor and artist Ice Prince has been a force on the Nigerian Hip Hop scene. He's responsible for the most remixed song of all time in Nigeria. Ice Prince has also been nominated for several World Music Awards, and he won Best International Act: Africa at the 2013 BET Awards.

This partnership comes about in support of spreading the message of the importance of the 2020 Census as a way to be heard. As music is language we all understand, no matter where were from. According to The United States Census, contributing to the census “is one way we can support our communities and be represented. This once-in-a-decade count informs funding decisions for community matters such as schools, roads, job assistance, childcare, and healthcare.”

In addition, “Census data determines the number of seats each state receives in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is also used to draw congressional and state legislative districts. This “data also impacts hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding for critical services and programs each year for the next ten years.”

Taking the Census is easy and can be done quickly online at 2020CENSUS.GOV “by answering a few simple questions like name, age, race/ethnicity, and sex.” It doesn’t request any additional information about social security numbers, bank information or citizenship status. "Responses are 100% confidential and can’t be shared with your landlord, law enforcement or any government agency.”
